I normally use a TCR of 92 but unfortunately, using 92 in TCR mode produces way too little of a vape on the Aegis Mini as it cuts off way early. Even turning the mod up to 600 F couldn’t provide a warm vape. Using SS mode gave similar results so I needed to play around in TCR mode to dial it in. Bypass mode enables you to use the Geek Vape Aegis as a mech mod. Basically, it uses the remaining voltage of the battery to power the atomiser.

The other “selling point” features of the Geek Vape Aegis Legend is the supposed water resistance of the mod’s exterior. Overall, Geekvape took a nice rugged mod and shrunk it down to a more portable version making it a very nice beginner device. If you vape under 45 watts, and especially if you vape MTL, it’s a great mod to pair with an RTA for a small portable setup that doesn’t need to be babied and will give some decent battery life.

Is the Legend as “legendary” as its price tag claims? Still, with the rock-solid pod vape juice construction, ergonomic fit and overall feel, it’s hard to argue that the Legend isn’t among the most useful, powerful and versatile mods on the market today. I opened with a hyperbolic sentence, so we might as well do it for our bottom lede, as well. The Geek Vape Aegis Legend is a fantastic vape mod, with a slew of functions and a ton of comfort and durability in tow.
As the battery level drops it will not output full power. You find even set at 45W it will only put out like 24W – then the battery weak prompt comes up. At this point the tank has already started to flood as it is too low power to vaporise the liquid sufficiently.

It doesn’t look like a lot of damage, but its caused problems, meaning the device is now difficult to use. Generally, it all looks OK still – however, the real issue is going back to the battery door. I just suggest not leaving the device to charge overnight, and make sure its on a fire-proof surface. So its comparable to many other mods I use daily at around the same wattage.
The Aegis Max 100 fits perfectly in my hand and works with regular batteries with included adapter. Works better with a batterie and one will last you almost all day. I’m not saying there is anything wrong, only saying I have a different preference. I have the boost and if I overfill it, it leaks from the fill port. Make sure you prime the coil- drops of ejuice on the cotton juice holes and a few drops down the center of your coil. Pull back the battery door switch, then push the battery door the rest of the way down.
Aegis Legend Specifications
I purchased this mod some time ago and its still going great guns. It performs well in all modes, TN-NI, TC-SS, TC-TI, TC-TCR. The only very slight let down for me is the firing speed, it could be slightly quicker. I had the earlier version and the paint came off just by taking mini vape mod cbd oil cartridge it out of my pocket numerous times and it was a bit heavier. Comprising of a small list of components it’s simple to see exactly what you’re getting. In the image below we show all the contents and the box itself. There is also a user manual, and a Type-C USB Charging cable.
This coil is recommended to be used between 25w and 33w. I tested it out with the Got Salt Peachy Promise nicotine salt, mixed at 50VG/50PG. Although the battery is external, the kit does take a Micro-USB charger.

I was able to get the full 100 watts with everything from a 0.1-ohm build to a 0.61-ohm build, so the volt and amp limit will never be an issue. The fire button is a hexagon on the front of the mod with the slight angle on the bottom like most of the other Aegis mods. Below the screen is the up and down buttons and on the left side is the USB port under a rubber plug so dust and water can’t get in. It features a large black and white screen that’s bright and easy to see and looks great. I do kind of miss the color screens of some of the mods of the line though, but that’s no big deal.
The power / temperature setting and your vaping habits will obviously cause a variation in battery life. But to give you a guide vaping at 45W regularly I got 315 puffs and just over 5 hours. Well-protected doesn’t mean ugly, the GeekVape Aegis max sub ohm device has a unique style and incorporates leather and carbon fibre into its design, for a sleek look. Its a bit of a hassle but I’ve trained myself to turn any mod off before I put it into my pocket. My old mechanical stick mods with the bottom firing button are the exception, they have a twist ring that stops the button from being pushed. In wattage mode you can choose between Soft, Standard and Powerful which will basically increase or decrease the initial ramp up time when you press the fire button.
Geekvape lists the specs at 80 watts, 8 volts, and 30 amps. I’m happy they listed all three as I feel every company should do that. During my testing, the max achieved wattage was 91 watts, So it is accurately rated and capable of doing a bit more than the 80 watts listed. The amp limit I got was 25 A, which is in the average range for internal battery mods these days (25-30 A). However, that was with a 0.12-ohm build and 78 watts so it’s possible the amp limit is even a little higher than that as I was capped off by the watt limit. The volt limit I got with a 0.61-ohm coil was 7.469 which shows there is a boost circuit like there should be in this style of a mod and, again, I was limited by the watts, so it could be even higher.
If your device does either of those things, it’s likely that you are using too much air pressure when puffing on the device. If you’re not satisfied with your vaping experience, refer to the above section about how to troubleshoot weak hits with the Geek Vape Aegis Hero. Inhaling more firmly will not produce a more satisfying hit; it’ll force excess e-liquid to enter your device’s atomizer coil assembly, flooding the coil and causing it to produce a gurgling sound. The Geek Vape Aegis Hero has a built-in 1,200 mAh battery that charges via a Micro USB port. To charge the battery, just connect the Aegis Hero to your computer’s USB port using the included charging cable. The device’s display – positioned just under the fire button – tells you when the charge cycle is finished.
Lets not forget the iconic durability, the Geekvape Aegis Boost Plus is apparently dust proof – water proof and shock proof. Although the max wattage remains at 40W there is one big power difference. An external battery the original had an integrated 1500mAh but the GeekVape Aegis Boost Plus has a external 18650, which can go up to 3,500 mAh.
It has a springy gold plated positive pin and the threaded portion is made from stainless steel. The battery charges quick and last for a while depending on how much you vape of course. Even more interestingly, a 510 adapter allows you to use the system with your preferred sub-ohm tank or RDTA easily. Plus, the pod can be switched out for the RDTA Pod along with the Boost Plus Pod.

Airflow does come in from the bottom of this tank, and it is fully adjustable. In the Aegis X Vape Kit, you’ll get two Super mesh coils, which have a resistance of 0.2 ohm each.

Since I got it, ill have the batteries fully charged in my external charger, put them in the mod, and it says “battery too low”. No matter what I did to try to fix it, it was still there. Just received the aegis x Zeus kit and really not sure what batteries to buy for it please help? Which unfortunately for me, hit the weak spot and caused the unfortunate damage to the battery door. However, looking at the silicon/Rubber seals around the battery door, the USB port and the build quality I have no concerns that the Aegis X wouldn’t survive a 30 minute soak in up to 1m of water.
The heel of your thumb rests nicely on the fire button, which is great as you’re not having to contort your hand in a weird position to press it. It is extremely sturdy and doesn’t bend or warp when unscrewing. I believe this is due to the silicone o-ring which seals in the battery and prevents any water getting in. The rest of the body is made from an extremely rugged and tough form of silicone as well as an aluminium and leather portion at the back of the mod. The screen in the middle is clear and easy to use in most lighting conditions, although in direct bright sunlight, it was a little difficult to read.
